April Family Night
Come join us for a fun filled family night, Monday April 29th at 7:00pm. We will be watching the short film, "Assiniboine Chief Rosebud Remembers Lewis & Clark", which was produced and filmed in this area with several locals actually in the film. After the movie, we will be making teepees that will be used for table decorations at our Lewis and Clark Heritage Day in May. Remember, children 12 and under need a parent or adult supervision.

Lewis & Clark Heritage Day - May 11th at 4:00 p.m. Come join us for an exciting adventure with guest speaker Hal Stearns as he presents "The Indian Education of Lewis & Clark". We will also be enjoying some Great Plains Stew and Frybread. We had a wonderful time last year at our Heritage Day Celebration and we know it will be just as great this year. Friends of the Library have a display with handmade items for sale, such as Jewelry, Cards, Bookmarks, Beaded Hair Accessories. All proceeds benefit the Library.
The Roosevelt County Library's Computer/Internet Policy has been Revised..
ALL PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST HAVE THEIR COMPUTER/INTERNET FORM RESIGNED BY BOTH THE STUDENT AND PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN. The previous Internet/Computer Policy will be honored only until 3/31/13.

Saturday Story Time!!
Join us every Saturday at 11:00 A.M. for an amazing adventure filled with stories, crafts, and games. This program is geared toward pre-school aged children, and parents are welcome to stay and/or participate with their child(ren). There is no registration required.
New Photo Exhibit
THE NATURAL WORLD: FROM NEAR AND FAR. This display presented by Phillip Gordon and Philippa Newfield features the photographic talents of Bob Gatten. Prints can be purchased to support the library; one for $25 or 2 for $40.
Bookclub
The new book that will be read by the book club, "Sarah's Key" by Tatiana De Rosnay, is available to be checked out. Book Club is free and is open to anyone who would like to join. Please contact Bonnie Olson at (406)653-2411 for more information.
Lewis and Clark Grant
UPDATE: The local quilters club has a quilt top completed and are working on finishing it soon. This quilt when finished will be on display in the library. A local photographer, Lisa Dunn, has completed six photojournal prints and is working on a larger print, to be on display in the library. The Library, in partnership with the California Chapter of the Lewis and Clark Heritage Foundation has been awarded a stewardship grant. These monies will make it possible for a permanent display and educational programs that will be held at the Library in the coming months.

HomeworkMT offers free online tutoring, academic resources, writing assistance and preparatory testing materials from Tutor.com for all Montana residents. Montanans can get help in math, science, social studies or english from a live tutor as part of the statewide service. The service can be accessed from Montana public, school, academic or special library or from your home computer. Tutors are available Sunday through Thursday 2p.m.- 11 p.m. The Skills Center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
